Cashmere Care

To be noted  when wearing cashmere.
When wearing it internally, it is best to have a smooth outer layer that is not too rough or hard. The inner bag should not contain hard objects such as pens, notebooks, wallets, etc., to avoid local friction and pilling. If local pilling is found, it can be gently removed and then cleaned and ironed, which will not affect the wearing effect.
2. Try to minimize friction with hard objects (such as sleeves and tabletop, sleeves and sofa armrests, back and sofa, etc.) and forcefully pull hard hooks when wearing outdoors. Wear for a short period of time, pay attention to intervals of about 3 days to restore elasticity and avoid fiber fatigue.

How to wash Cashmere

Cashmere fibers have relatively small fineness, short length, and fewer curls, resulting in a lower holding force of the fibers in the yarn and more exposed fuzz. Under external forces, they are prone to slip from the fabric and produce shedding and pilling.

Cashmere products cannot be washed in a washing machine. Stirring cashmere products in a washing machine can cause them to become felted. So it’s best to dry clean or hand wash. The method is as follows:
1. Add appropriate neutral detergent such as shampoo, cashmere specific detergent, etc. to warm water at 30-35 ℃ and soak for 10-15 minutes. Then gently tap and squeeze with your hands, avoiding scrubbing with force. If the dirt is severe, the soaking time can be extended appropriately or directly sent to a dry cleaning shop for cleaning.
2. After washing, rinse several times in warm water at around 35-40 ℃.
How to dry cashmere:
The newly washed cashmere sweater should not be squeezed out of water by the traditional way of twisting Fried Dough Twists, which will make the cashmere sweater deformed,
It is recommended to roll the washed cashmere sweater into a ball shape and then gently press the edge of the basin to remove any moisture from the sweater.
Spread a large white towel flat, then unfold the washed cashmere sweater onto the towel,
Roll up the towel and apply some force to allow it to absorb as much moisture as possible from the cashmere sweater.
Remember not to use a washing machine to dehydrate, otherwise it will cause the clothes to deform.

Ironing and storage methods for cashmere sweaters

Regarding the ironing requirements for cashmere products, such as the maximum temperature, when ironing clothes,
You must follow the above requirements to avoid scalding clothes.
2. When ironing, a wet cloth should be placed on top of the cashmere product. The wet cloth should not be too dry, otherwise it will burn the cashmere product.
3. The temperature of the iron should not be too high to prevent the transfer of static charges from the iron to the clothes.
When storing cashmere products
the underwear can be folded, sealed with a plastic bag, and placed flat in the wardrobe. The jacket should be wrapped in a plastic bag and hung in the wardrobe.
The stored cashmere products should be protected from light to prevent fading,
It should be regularly ventilated, shaded, dusted, and kept away from moisture, and should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
If it has been exposed to the sun, it should be dried thoroughly before being placed in the wardrobe.
At the same time, place anti mold and insect tablets around the wardrobe to prevent cashmere products from getting damp, moldy, and infested with insects.
